Buddy Hield Phoenix Suns Highlights

Even though the Buddy Hield Phoenix Suns Highlights were not amazing, it shows that Hield is developing his game even more and consistently looking for shots.  Hield started out quickly scoring 8 points but then hit a complete dry spell missing 8 out of 10 shots from the arc to finish with a dismal 3 point shooting percentage.

Without a doubt, this game belonged to Devin Booker, the young 20 year old standout from Kentucky drafted in the 2015 NBA Draft in the 1st Round with the 13th pick by the Phoenix Suns.  He was an absolute terror for the Pelicans scoring 38 points while collecting 4 rebounds before fouling out in the overtime period.

Buddy Hield Pre-Game Media Interview

To be absolutely honest, this is the best offensive production we’ve seen so far during this season from the Pelicans.  There was balanced scoring with 7 players in double digits with Anthony Davis (22) and Terrence Jones (19) leading.  Buddy Hield played over 22 minutes for the game scoring 10 points while collecting 4 rebounds and dishing out 1 assist.  There were definitely ample opportunities for Buddy to score but the shots were simply not dropping.  Early in the season, several top shooters in the league are struggling including Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors.  So fans, please understand this isn’t just limited to Buddy Hield.

Statistically, the Pelicans should have won this game easily.  The stats which stand out were Free Throw Shooting, the Pelicans hit 15-28 while the Suns hit 24-28.  Those 13 points would have easily changed the outcome of this game.  The Pelicans also had more assists, better field goal percentage and had 14 blocks versus only 2 for the Suns.  The Pelicans lost this game collectively as a team because of poor execution.

The road doesn’t get any easier for Buddy and The New Orleans Pelicans as they travel on the road for tough matchups against The Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings. This could get ugly really quick for a winless Pelicans team.
