Buddy wasted no time getting in the scoring column nailing a 20-foot jumper to give the Kings an early 2-0 advantage at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento California.  The Buddy Hield Milwaukee Bucks Highlights would not end there as Hield would go on to tie his career high with 21 points to go along with 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal in 35 minutes on the floor.  Hield was impressive with 8 of 16 (50%) shooting from the field including 2 three-pointers.  Buddy got the scare of his life with less than 6 minutes remaining in the second quarter on a driving attempt to the basket against Bucks 6’9 (245lbs.) power forward Mirza Teletovic who crashed into Buddy’s shooting hand causing him to react in extreme pain.  Hield, normally a 90% free-throw shooter on the season, would miss both shot attempts.  During a brief timeout, Buddy grimaced in pain but continued to play after the collision.

Fortunately, his ability to shoot effectively and dribble penetrate were not hampered for the remainder of the game as Hield had a big second half scoring 12 of his 21 total points after halftime.

The Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo came to put on a show with an impressive 22 point performance by halftime to finish with 32 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, 2 steals and a blocked shot in 40 total minutes.   The Milwaukee Bucks are now one game officially over .500 and have moved into a tie with the Indiana Pacers for the sixth playoff spot.  The race for the finish is a tightly contested with just one game separating the fifth-place Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee.  The Bucks held just a one-point lead after the first quarter but went on to outscore the Kings 44-26 in the second to take a 19 point lead into halftime.  The Kings were unable to get the lead under double digits as the Bucks shot extremely well from three-point range connecting on 16 of 35 (45.7%).  The Kings are 0-2 against the Bucks for the series after last night’s 116-98 loss.
