Buddy Hield Memphis Grizzlies Highlights Game 3

Buddy Hield Memphis Grizzlies Highlights

The Memphis Grizzlies came in trying to snap a 3-game losing streak and maintain a firm hold of the 7th Playoff seed at the expense of a young Sacramento lineup.  They would have to do so without their leader and force in the middle Marc Gasol, who was sidelined for a second consecutive game with a foot injury.  Meanwhile, The Kings were still in awe of their 18 point comeback victory with just 5 minutes remaining against the Los Angeles Clippers led by Buddy’s 11 fourth quarter points.  Against the stingy defensive squad of the Grizzlies, Buddy would face Tony Allen, a five time NBA All Defensive Team standout.  Despite Allen’s defensive prowess, the Buddy Hield Memphis Grizzlies Highlights would start exactly where he left off against the Clippers, scoring early in the first quarter connecting on 2 deep three-pointers.  Buddy would finish as the Kings’ second leading scorer with 14 points and 4 rebounds including 2 key clutch free throws late in the fourth quarter.

The young combination of players for the Kings continue to improve with each game and provide amazing highlights.  Our above the rim highlights below to Skal Labissiere who put down an emphatic jam off a fastbreak pass from Garrett Temple late in the second quarter.

Not to be outdone, Willie Cauley-Stein had several highlights of his own but none better than this sequence where he collected the defensive rebound, started the fastbreak and hustled ahead of his Memphis opponent to throw down an acrobatic alley-oop off a dish from Darren Collinson.

It would be the strong play of Darren Collinson who finished with 23 points as the Kings’ leading scorer to go along with 4 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the Kings to a 91-90 win over the struggling Memphis Grizzlies.  Despite leading by nine points in the fourth, the Grizz would fight back and take a one point lead on two clutch free throws by Zach Randolph with :32 seconds remaining in the game.  Randolph managed to collect his 7th offensive rebound and draw the 6th foul for Kings’ starting center Kosta Koufos.  Mike Conley had 22 points and nine assists for the Grizzlies while Randolph added 17 points and 15 rebounds.

Key Statistics: The Kings bench were outscored by Memphis 28-25.  Memphis dominated the rebounding 45-36 with with a 19-8 offensive rebound mismatch, their second chance points kept them in the game when the Kings built a 9 point lead with hopes of putting it away early.  Willie Cauley-Stein led the Kings with 9 rebounds.   The Grizzlies shot 31 of 90 (34.4%) from the field and just 5 of 26 (19.2%) from three-point range while the Kings connected on 31 of 67 (46.3%) from the field and shot just 6 of 25 (24%) from three-point range.  Their poor shooting from deep affected their ability to push the lead.  Up next, the Kings host another playoff bound team facing the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night at 10:30pm EST.  Be sure to check out all the video clips below and share these Buddy Hield Memphis Grizzlies Highlights to fellow Buddy Hield Fans in your social network!
