The Memphis Grizzlies came in trying to snap a 3-game losing streak and maintain a firm hold of the 7th Playoff seed at the expense of a young Sacramento lineup. They would have to do so without their leader and force in the middle Marc Gasol, who was sidelined for a second consecutive game with a foot injury. Meanwhile, The Kings were still in awe of their 18 point comeback victory with just 5 minutes remaining against the Los Angeles Clippers led by Buddy’s 11 fourth quarter points. Against the stingy defensive squad of the Grizzlies, Buddy would face Tony Allen, a five time NBA All Defensive Team standout. Despite Allen’s defensive prowess, the Buddy Hield Memphis Grizzlies Highlights would start exactly where he left off against the Clippers, scoring early in the first quarter connecting on 2 deep three-pointers. Buddy would finish as the Kings’ second leading scorer with 14 points and 4 rebounds including 2 key clutch free throws late in the fourth quarter.
