Buddy Hield Denver Nuggets Highlights Game 3

Buddy Hield Denver Nuggets Highlights Game 3

After a tough game against the Washington Wizards, the #2 seed of the East, the Sacramento Kings now faced the #8 seed in the West, the Denver Nuggets.  Despite having lost their previous 7 games, the Kings have left a positive impression towards the future in the minds of many fans with a talented young group of players.  All of the Buddy Hield Denver Nuggets Highlights clearly demonstrate that Hield is now in a system which he is easily more comfortable in and can produce offensively.  The next step in his growth process in the NBA is stepping up on his defense and improving his ability to score around the basket.  In the last few games, Buddy has been moving beautifully without the ball and scored on several driving layups.  Last night, Buddy was the Kings’ leading scorer with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists including scoring 5 points in a first quarter which the entire team scored only 19 points.  Basically, Buddy scored over 25% of the team’s total points in the quarter.  More importantly, Buddy has now put up double digits in 8 of his last 9 games with the Kings, a tremendous improvement over his period with the Pelicans where the team lacked a clear role for Hield in the offense.

One of the bright spots for the future for the Kings is 20 year old Skal Labissiere who is slowly coming into his own with increased playing time.  Labissiere is a native of Haiti and has formed a bond with fellow islander Buddy Hield who hails from The Bahamas.  Here is Skal making a statement with this athletic move and statement dunk.

Sacramento led just once the entire game on a Buddy Hield 24-foot three-point shot with 10:33 left in the first quarter but never got closer than 2 points and 6 points in the third and fourth quarters respectively.  The Nuggets would eventually build a lead of 17 points late in the fourth quarter which ultimately ended any comeback opportunity.  In their recent meeting, starting center Nikola Jokic was sidelined due to a flu but returned to action last night and made his presence felt with 20 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.   The Nuggets were led by Gary Harris who was Buddy Hield’s absolute nightmare as he scored at will and finished with 24 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block.  Danilo Gallinari had 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.

Tyreke Evans would return to action to score 16 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block.  Skal Labissiere had 7 points and 5 rebounds off the bench.  Both teams have played each other well and there are some memorable Buddy Hield Denver Nuggets Highlights, be sure to check them all out on our blog.

Key Statistics: The Kings bench outscored the Nuggets 36-32. Rebounds were basically even with the Nuggets winning that battle 44-41.  The Nuggets shot 40 of 85 (47.1%) from the field and 9 of 34 (26.5%) from three-point range while the Kings shot 36 of 82 (43.9%) from the field and 8 of 23 (34.8%) from three-point range. Up next, the Kings hosts the Orlando Magic on Monday night at 10:30pm.
